I have a diverse range of skills to share through my Permaculture living workshops whether it’s on Food Gardening, food preservation and sourdough bread baking. There’s something for everyone.

 

Something for all ages ~ I offer an array of tailored kids nature crafting workshops or garden working bee sessions.

Whether its a relaxing terracotta pot painting/propagation workshop or a session in planting out a garden bed with our organic veggie seedlings there’s something for everyone.

I have been running workshops for over 7 years now and all about creating a relaxed, enjoyable, and informative vibe in my workshops where participants can dive into learning these skills that are slowly becoming forgotten.

My workshops are a welcoming and engaging space for everyone, ensuring that all can explore sustainable living and can brighten their lives!

Curious about growing your own organic food, starting your own seeds and create a food forest in your garden?

Well, why not learn from two lovely creative humans- Kym & Emma! Come on a journey into the world of plants!

This course is all about growing plants to get abundant harvests and understanding important techniques in how to improve your soil, integrated pest management and plant health.

Kym is co-owner of Nomad nursery where they focus on edible plants that are all grown with organic inputs + love in the Adelaide hills and are adapted to South Australia’s climate.

Kym has spent many years growing plants for his own nursery, different farms, gardens and permaculture food growing projects for the past 6 years.

He is trained in Permaculture and also has many years of experience in his former career as a professional chef and has combined his love of sharing food food and regenerative farming

How to book me in for a super-rad workshop

    Look at the topics you’re interested in for me to facilitate

  • Make an enquiry

    Fill in our super-rad enquiry form with your contact details, other details like where the workshop will be, how many people, how long, dates and any other important info.

  • Receive a customised quote

    I will look at my availability (there’s only 1 of me and i still haven’t figured out how to clone myself) and i’ll get back to you with a customised quote and an agreement on the workshop i’ll deliver.

  • Book the dates

    We confirm that we’re both happy with the agreement and I book in the dates

  • Have some workshop fun!

    I run the workshop as we’ve discussed, everyone has a great time and then we high five.

Workshop Pricing Options

Every workshop is always slightly different and therefore all of my workshops are customised and quoted for accordingly.

What I include in my quotes are:

  • My travel and prep time for the workshop

  • Any fees, materials or purchases required to fulfil the workshop

  • My labour/time running the workshop

However, as a rough guideline, For a 2 hour workshop, expect a guesstimated starting price from $440 onwards.

I send full invoices after the workshop has been fulfilled, however, in certain circumstances a deposit may be needed.

 

 Frequently asked questions

  • Yep! i’m mobile and self sufficient! I’m based in Mount Barker but can do a workshop anywhere across SA. I factor in travel time within my quotes and will let you know within the customized quote.

  • It depends on the workshops, but on average I cap my workshops at around 25people. However, I have run workshops with up to 50 participants. Get in touch to chat numbers and logistics.

  • Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes.

  • The short answer is no, as much as I love helping people and sharing skills I have to charge fairly and equally to all my clients. However, if you are working within a budget and reallllllly reallllllly want to hang out with me, please get in touch and we can work out something that is suitable for both parties.

  • Yep! I will bring everything I need to facilitate the workshop and what is listed in the agreement. The only thing I cannot supply is tables, chairs and a workshop space.
